Apple Not Claimed For Your Gadgets
If you have dropped your iPhone in the toilet, gotten pushed into a pool with your iPhone or been in any other situation that resulted in your iPhone getting water damaged where rice would not save it… you will be glad to know that according to CNET Apple now has an answer for what you should do with your handset.
So just what is this answer?
It is willing to pay for it!
That’s right. Apple has announced that it is extending its recycling program to offer a gift card in exchange for even water-logged devices.
And surprisingly the prices Apple is offering for water damaged devices is actually quite fair. For example a 32 GB Verizon iPhone 5 will snag you a full $235 Apple gift card.
So how do you know if you qualify and if your device is technically water damaged in Apple’s opinion?
